Rich-Tomkins Company is pleased to announce new additions to the state-of-the art training center in the Aston, Pa. location.

Handling the training for all Bradford White products is Herbert “Harvey” of Harvey’s Heating & A/C LLC.  Harvey is a 25-year Bradford White Authorized service agent with a background in water heaters and electrical trades.  (Be sure to see a brief preview of Harvey below from our You Tube Channel).

Harvey is one of the best in the business and in addition to teaching those already in the trade, he has taught night school classes in Delaware for over 10 years.

“The Training Center provides an opportunity for close communication with the students, hands-on-training and great one-on-one question and answer sessions,” said Harvey.

Harvey is certainly right as the Training Center is designed for groups no larger than 20 allowing everyone in attendance to have a great learning experience.

“I am ‘one of them’,” Harvey says. “I still work in the field hands on and by training at Rich-Tomkins I can make plumbers, property managers and others more comfortable with the technology and be familiar with changes in the industry.”

Some of those changes are reflected in the changes Rich-Tomkins President Stew Chaffee wanted to have made to the Training Center.

“I wanted to expand our Training Center from a more residential focus to one that can covers residential and commercial applications,” said Chaffee. “I think we took it to a great place by adding a commercial boiler set up and examples of Uponor radiant Pex products and applications.”

Uponor Pex is a product Rich-Tomkins has fully embraced and believes the more contractors, plumbers, and wholesalers learn about its applications and ease of use they will fully embrace it as well.
